This is a real HR Generalist function where you focus on HR advice & support as well as administration skills. Next to that, you are process expert supporting the organization with a foundation of world-class transactions and administration.

As a part of the Management Team in the Nordics, you executes local HR strategies and are a first point of contact for employees and managers. You provides leadership, guidance and help with individual needs and HR processes.

SSI Schäfer relocates their office from Hadsund to Aalborg Q4 2023.

About the job and tasks:

You are reporting hierarchically to Managing Director, Nordics Michael Hillstrom and functionally to VP Regional Head of Human Resources Northern Europe, Mario Enklaar.

Your main tasks:

  • Ensure all business activities comply with Country employment legisation, supports best practice and is consistent and fair in its approach.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of best practice, policies and procedures which meet regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Support and execute complex employee relations cases and change management programmes.
  • Provide expert direction and advice on employment and people matters across the business, whilst considering the risk and impact of decisions.
  • Delivering key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, restructuring, recruitment, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management.
  • Provide HR advice and support in terms of Employee Relations queries, attendance and advice at all disciplinary, grievance and capability meetings.
  • Where appropriate review and develop policy, process and procedure.
  • Employees have responsibilities for their safety whilst at work and to co-operate with the Company on all health & safety requirements.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence with superior HR data maintenance, Personnel file Management and, HR scorecards.
  • Takes care of on-site interview scheduling, On-board & exit processing and new hire paperwork (introduction)
  • Guarantees that payroll system and administration is up to date and salaries are paid out.

Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have a relevant bachelor or master´s degree with +5 years of experience from a related HR position

  • You have good knowledge of employment law
  • Experience in a broad function from administration to advising to creating policies.
  • Able to develop highly effective working relationships across all levels by building credibility, respect and rapport with key stakeholders, with the aptitude to effectively and creatively challenge people in an appropriate way
  • High level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
  • Previous experience of interviewing and sourcing employees
  • Experience of providing advice on disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Accurate and precise in HR administration
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Effective planning and organisational skills
